Love Open-toe Socks
As I continue into seniority I find that my feet are needing more care. I don't have diabetes, but circulation in the legs isn't what it used to be, and my feet have a tendency to get crusty in places, When the heels get dry, they crack and even bleed. A podiatrist told me to put these open-toe socks on over an application of Gold Bond healing cream overnight. She said this would be needed only two nights per month, and it seems that she is right. The silicone heel patch holds the medicated cream in. The only drawback so far is that the silicone has become sticky after a few uses, and washing the socks does not help. I should think that silicone is impervious to just about any chemical. I'd appreciate any help with this.

These are very comfortable - I wear about size 8.5 women's shoe and do not have any swelling or such. I have been sleeping with them, applying Aveeno cream first, every night since I bought them. I also have used Urea 40+ one to three times each day, when I can remember to use it. My heels have been a problem all my life. Now they are "regular"
